Labor and Construction

I enjoy framing, hanging drywall, painting, and doing other miscellaneous woodworking and handiwork. In college, I took my second semester of freshman year off and worked as a labourer around Boston.

I have been involved with work of this sort since my first woodworking project at age 4, when I constructed a “model sailboat.” In doing so, I accidentally pushed a pencil lead into my left hand while marking a cut on a 2×4. The graphite is still blatantly visible in my left palm, today.

I look forward to owning and taking pride in a home. In accordance with my aesthetic ideals, I seek to maintain a home with carefully chosen interior paints, rugged wooden furniture, and a bold, minimalist décor.
