Blogtronix: Part Trois
Well, here we are again. Another blog from Jameson Williams. This blog breaks the standard naming convention; indeed, we see that this iteration of “Blogtronix” comes not from Austin, TX, but rather from Bethlehem, PA. Consult a map.
Back at Lehigh
So, I’ve been back at Lehigh for a week now. I am taking the following classes / doing the following things this term:
- Digital System Design
- Operating System Design
- Software Engineering
- Introduction to Chemical Principles
- Astronomy Laboratory
- Senior Computer Engineering Design Project
Next semester (my last semester) I will be doing the following:
- Principles of Economics
- Abstract Algebra
- Mathematics Seminar
- Systems Software
- Senior Computer Engineering Design Project
It will be sweet to graduate college, dude. I’ve been looking forward to that for years! What else is new. Well, I’m going to start working at the VADER laboratory in another week or so, writing in C and Matlab.
Daily Routines
Well, I made all of my scheduled commitments this week, which started at 8:10 on MWF. This is something to be celebrated.
“It is the strict adherence to daily routine that tends towards the maintenance of good morale and the preservation of sanity.” - The Snowman.
Two additions I would like to see to the daily routine are:
- To include mandatory study hours after class
- To include time on the ERG before class (6:20 - 7:00.)
So, the plan is to try that out next week, and to see if it’ll fit in. But enough business talk here. Let’s get down to the meat and potatoes of this blog. Following the advice from Alex Gaynor’s penetrating 2006 advice column “Ten Habits of Highly Successful Blogging,” I am going to get a cool beverage to sit down with before I proceed. Brb.
Okay, so here I am with the San Diego mug. It’s my house mates, and it’s pretty cool looking. Observe:

Yea, so that picture came from a webcam. It’s not something I’m particularly proud of using, but I don’t have a digital camera anymore so cut me some slack. “Hot nood redheads 4 u on webcam for less $$.”
Well, I’m going to go to bed and then wake up wicked early and go to the gym and try and get my life sorted out tomorrow after class. This involves:
- Buying some text books
- Taking out mad cash from the bank
- Sorting out some financial aid documents
Kay, well, bye.

I’m pretty sure my parents have an identical San Diego koozie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koozie). Wowza!
