Today is Thursday, and on Thursdays I have no class. So, I was sitting here at the computer and I thought, “Huh, I should get some Bush/Cheney ‘08 bumper stickers. You know, as a joke.” As I was Googling, I found the following on Robert Maldon’s blog:
Laughter followed shortly thereafter. If you don’t get it, [...]

Well, here we are again. Another blog from Jameson Williams. This blog breaks the standard naming convention; indeed, we see that this iteration of “Blogtronix” comes not from Austin, TX, but rather from Bethlehem, PA. Consult a map.
Back at Lehigh
So, I’ve been back at Lehigh for a week now. I am taking the following classes [...]

If you need to set up a printer on Windows or Mac OS X, you can just go to lehigh.edu/printers and run one of the VisualBasic or applescript scripts, respectively. Here are instructions for Linux. And immediately below is a rant on why you printers are lame.

I tried for a few days to get Lehigh’s 8021X authentication to work with my wireless setup, but the wireless network kept disassociating before the handshake finished. I asked around and a bunch of people said that Ashutosh’s instructions worked perfectly. I tried them verbatim, except without ndiswrapper (yuck!) The Intel iwlwifi driver has been [...]

- You
Yea brah, well, I mean blogtronix isn’t a word either. If you want to get into the pedantry of my rhetoric, we can. So, what is this, exactly; some sort of blog? Yes. This is the second iteration of a series of [...]

UT Austin currently has command line instructions on how to use their secured wireless network through wpa_supplicant. That’s all well and good if you’re a computer science student using Gentoo with some time to kill, but suppose you are a person with a laptop who wants to go on the web. It is easy to [...]

Everybody’s talking about America’s oil addiction. At a rate of over 87 million gallons per day, America uses over one quarter of the oil consumed worldwide. This is comparable to the amount of oil consumed by China, India, Russia, Japan, and Germany combined.
For the worlds most influential regions, I have computed an oil prosperity index [...]

This is a topic that I, as most Americans, know very little about. I thought it would behoove my understanding of reality to run a brief survey of various relevant topics from the interwebs. This is not a particularly profound writeup, merely a quick survey of some of the important facts of which one should be aware

Since the beginning of 2008, this website has gone from around 20 hits per day to around 150. Thanks for coming! Here are some statistics for those who are interested:
2,500 of the page visits during this period have been to my page about the Realtek r8168 - just slightly more than were even to the [...]
